Welcome to the Studio
I live and sculpt in the inspiring city of Paris, France.
My creative process draws from the rich traditions of art history, my own daily life and the interactions with the diverse individuals who surround me.
All of the sculptures and drawings are created in the studio. It is located in the 20th district, in an artistic courtyard filled with natural north light.
My work is made in collaboration with diverse individuals as models. I build up the forms of the figure sculpture in clay from observation of their bodies. This requires time and sensitivity.
From this clay sculpture, I create limited editions in other materials, such as plaster. Each piece is hand-cast and hand-finished.
I often work in series to explore particular themes in more depth. Each sculpture is a singular work that is part of a greater collective.
