Finland Residency, 2020
Arteles Creative Center: Silence Awareness Existence Program, February 2020, Hämeenkyrö
Melanie Furtado was selected for a one-month residency in rural Finland, for research and production. Projects included the sculpture Giulia from the Women: States of Being in collaboration with Italian performance artist Giulia Mattera, as well as drawing from observation each of the 14 artists in residence.
